ARLINGTON, Va. — February 6, 2026— Navaide announced today its selection for a competitive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I award from the Department of the Air Force’s Digital Transformation Office (DTO). The award supports the feasibility assessment and validation of next-generation artificial intelligence components designed to enhance strategic and operational decision support in complex defense environments.
About the Project
The project focuses on developing and validating next-generation artificial intelligence components to enhance strategic decision-making across the Department of War. The initial research phase targets key components that automate financial and performance analysis across diverse institutional data sources.
The framework introduces a modular architecture specifically optimized for defense analytical environments, automating data ingestion, analysis, and visualization. It employs advanced AI techniques for verifiable analytics and traceable source attribution, while its multi-classification security design supports operations across Impact Levels 2 through 6 (IL2-IL6) and incorporates zero-trust architecture principles to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Through this DTO SBIR Phase I, Navaide aims to enable leaders to identify efficiencies, measure program outcomes, and make faster, evidence-based decisions in areas such as acquisition, financial management, logistics, and personnel readiness.
